Animal Health for the Environment and Development (AHEAD)
The Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS), IUCN Veterinary Specialists Group (VSG), and other partners helped to start AHEAD in recognition of the importance of animal health to both conservation and development interests. Around the world, domestic and wild animals are coming into ever-more-intimate contact, as we all of course know, and without adequate scientific knowledge and planning, the consequences can be detrimental on one or both sides of the proverbial fence.
Biocultural Diversity Learning Network
The GDF Biocultural Diversity Learning Network (BDLN) aims to fulfill the desire of people from communities around the world to acquire and develop tools of research and teaching. It brings together innovative colleagues from diverse backgrounds and institutions to exchange ideas, launch new courses and research methods, and contribute to an Online Learning Guide on Biocultural Diversity. CASS/PLAAS CBNRM Research and Networking Programme
The CASS/PLAAS CBNRM Research and Networking programme is a regional collaborative effort between the Applied Social Sciences (CASS), of the University of Zimbabwe and the Programme for Land and Agrarian Studies (PLAAS), at the University of Western Cape. Its core activities are primary research into CBNRM issues and networking for the exchange of experiences and insights so as to contribute to poverty reduction and the enhancement of sustainable rural livelihoods in Southern Africa.

This voluntary program works with private landowners, one-on-one, to restore wildlife habitat on working farms, forests and recreation land as a part of an effort to promote the habitat of the Karner blue butterfly and other wildlife. New Zealand fisheries tour
During March 2006, University of California Marine Fisheries Specialist Christopher Dewees organized a study tour to New Zealand for 20 fishing community leaders from the United States. The purpose of this site is to share the experience of those 20 tour participants with a broader audience interested in learning more about New Zealand marine fisheries management. The tour was partially sponsored by Sand County Foundation's Bradley Fund for the Environment.
